WHAT HAPPEN
Posted at 6/23/2011 @ 10:11 pm MDT by GameQber
HELLO KIDDOS! BIG post incoming!!! And a special surprise towards the end...something about what many of you have been waiting for. :0)

As mentioned in my ShoutQbox post, we have big changes on the way here at GameQber.com! You can probably see that a couple of dancing dudes took over my site. They challenged me to a dance-off, and I lost. As a result, they've ordered for a few changes around here, and they want me to start promoting myself on Facebook and YouTube instead of growing a community here.

SO IN ORDER TO PLEASE THE DANCEQBERS, THE FOLLOWING FEATURES ON THIS SITE WILL BE CLOSED INDEFINITELY:
  • Qblog
  • Qchat
  • Friend Codes
  • Private Messages
  • REGISTRATIONS
  • ShoutQbox

This is NOT a sad day. All this is in preparation of Qber's Ultimate Endeavor?, or "¿QUE?" (it ends in a question mark because it makes for an awesome word in Spanish, and also, I don't know where this endeavor will lead me!).

The new community will be found on Facebook and YouTube! IF YOU'RE HAPPY AND YOU KNOW IT, LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE.

And finally, on top of new, live recordings of Zelda remixes being posted to my YouTube channel soon, I will finally be distributing sheet music for my rendition of "Song of Storms" by Koji Kondo EXCLUSIVELY on my new official Facebook page! Did you miss the link to it in the paragraph above? If you're like me, you did. Because I'm a nice guy (and the danceqbers are threatening me), here it is again.

You're probably wondering what's happening to gameqber.com, itself. When the transformation is over, this will essentially be my official site for Nintendo remixes. If you like my style, or you like ice cream sandwiches, I strongly urge you to sign up at my official music site to be notified of when I REALLY try to crank up the awesomeness with original songs. Bookmark and sign up! www.brettmoulton.com

THANKS QBOOS (Qber's Beloved Octorok Obliterators, my new name for you chums!)

Update (2/27/2011): If you created an account in the past few months and never verified your e-mail, you will have to re-register. I just wiped out about 700 bot accounts, but there may have been a few legit people out there! I'm sorry! <3
Song of Storms
Serenade of Water

If you're here for one of those two reasons, chances are you may be looking for a) more music, and/or b) sheet music! Well, I kinda have both of those things! At the moment, I only have sheet music available for my rendition of "Serenade of Water" by Koji Kondo.

To get your sheet music for "Serenade of Water", shoot me an e-mail.

I'm still writing my own music, as well, and I invite you to listen to a piano/instrumental song I've recorded recently. If you enjoyed "Serenade of Water", I think you'll like this one:

If you're interested in following my musical adventures as I work on my first album (which will have my own vocals), please bookmark my music site, and feel free to sign up to be notified when the site officially opens!

Song of Storms and stuff!

So I see that 99% of my bandwidth lately on this site is from downloads/links to the Song of Storms MP3 I did a couple years back. Since I haven't been updating this so much lately, I'm just posting this news article to conveniently link it for you right here!

UPDATE (8/7/09): I am closing my gameqber@gameqber.com e-mail address. It is LOADED with spam and I no longer use it anyway. If you need to contact me, just follow the link to my music site at the very bottom of the page. :)

Spring Cleaning!
Posted at 2/21/2008 @ 1:02 pm MST by GameQber
Okay, so in all honesty, there's a snowstorm that's hitting us tomorrow, dumping at least another 6 inches here, and mornings are still waking us up with a warm, cuddly 2 degrees below zero. But hey, I'm always several months late on everything I claim to do, so why not be a few weeks early on something for once? :0)

I'm killing my forums of laughter and joy. DELETING them. DESTROYING them. ANNIHILATING THEM. Their lifespan was short lived. With an overwhelming 50 THREADS and grand total of 255 POSTS, it will be a TREMENDOUS loss. I must admit, you guys picked nice numbers to stop at. Two-hundred and fifty-five is the max number of rupees you can have in Zelda on the NES. Fifty is ... a nice, even failing grade! Yes, my forums FAILED. But alas, GameQber.com stays alive. It lost the battle for king of all forums, but it hasn't lost the war in being totally abandoned.

I'm probably gonna clean up a few other things on the site. Nothing major. :0)

Hey Everyone!

All two of you! With back luck, maybe more than that.

Well, you might think the site's dead. Heck, I'd think the site's dead if nothing happened after constant projects stopping months ago. I didn't even decorate everyone up for Halloween with the orange names and pumpkins. DON'T FRET. I'm still alive somehow, and so is this site. It's probably going to follow me to the grave knowing me.

I am not quite sure what this site's going to turn into in the end, but possibly something related to ... more php projects. Caught you all off-guard, huh?

NSider's coming back at some point next year. Let's hope advertising is allowed again. LOL, I crack myself up.

Well, I won't put this whole announcement to waste. Egg nog is now available in select stores, as I've already bought two half-gallons from my local Market Basket. Enjoy! :0)
